For the second time in less than a week, BlackBerry smartphone users are reporting problems accessing e-mail. There was a breif outage on December 17.
The smartphones are made by a Canadian company Research in Motion (RIM). They issued a statement, which acknowledged "some BlackBerry customers in the Americas are experiencing delays in message delivery".
BlackBerry has been a Trending Topic on Twitter. Users are expressing their disappointments and disgust at the lack of service.
No elaborations have been given on the reasons and the estimated time of repair.
